NRA PERSONAL PROTECTION OUTSIDE THE HOME

Would you like to be more confident in protecting yourself when away from your home?  

This course teaches students the knowledge, skills and attitude essential for avoiding dangerous confrontations and for the safe, effective and responsible use of a concealed pistol for self-defense outside the home.

This is a two-day course, the first day is Saturday, 11/04/2023 and the second day is Sunday 11/05/2023. This is an intermediate level shooting course that introduces students to the knowledge, skills and attitude involved in safely, responsibly and effectively employing a concealed handgun for self-defense. This is an ideal course for someone with or contemplating applying for a concealed carry weapons permit. You will need to bring a handgun, 9mm or .38 caliber or greater is recommended, 300 rounds of appropriate ammo, hearing and eye protection and a hat. 

The cost of this course is $150, plus a small processing fee.  This fee includes the cost of classroom instruction and materials as well as instructions on the range and range use fees.   

Completion of The NRA Personal Protection inside the home course; or successfully complete a pre-course evaluation prior to the class with the instructor.
